All of our treatments are performed by the Motus Ay. The world’s first pain-free Alexandrite and Nd:YAG laser, The Motus AY has a cooling tip to improve comfort so you can barely feel anything, With its combination of Alexandrite and Nd:YAG wavelengths and advanced Moveo technology, the Motus AY delivers exceptional efficiency while minimising discomfort. The Motus AY is the only pain-free Alexandrite laser that is safe for all skin types.
Traditionally, despite the Alexandrite laser being the most effective for laser hair removal, it can be quite an uncomfortable treatment compared to other alternatives. Our new Motus Moveo Technology helps overcome the uncomfortable aspect of this treatment by changing the way the laser is reflected by the skin, allowing all our clients to receive ‘pain-free’ laser hair removal treatment, with the gold-standard results of a traditional Alexandrite laser.

How laser hair removal works
We use the medical grase motus AY lasers for all our laser treatments – they’re designed to treat lighter and darker skin tones both with fantastic results. Our lasers send a safe, concentrated beam of light into your hair follicles, just beneath the skin. That beam is converted into heat and absorbed by the individual hair follicles, restricting the pigment and stopping them from re-growing.

How does it treat all skin tones? The laser combines two wavelengths required to accurately target the pigment in the hair follicle (and not the skin pigment)
Your hair grows in several cycles (typically 2-8 weeks apart depending on the person and body area) so you will need multiple treatments to ensure that all the laser targets all of the hair.
Best results generally take 8-10 treatments to see 80-90%reduction in hair growth, depending on your skin tone, hair type and body area. For the face area we typically recommend starting with 10-12 treatments, we will be able to advise you on the best treatment plan for you and your body.
